Lakeway Elementary Early Act Service Club is going strong.

Even though Lakeway Elementary decided not to continue with the Early Act First Knight character program after two years, their Early Act service club is still going strong-60 members strong! Way to go, guys!! The  student club does  one  service project per month and the projects have included  collecting extra Halloween candy for the troops, visiting retirement communities, collecting used sporting goods for a charity, and raising money through chores around the house to buy a shelter-box. The club has  been nominated for the Rising Star award at their Chamber of Commerce Gala. We wish them luck and thank them for continuing to make a difference in their community.
