Rotary 2020-21 Theme Revealed

“Rotary is not just a club that you join, it is an invitation to endless opportunities. We believe that our acts of service, big and small, create opportunities for people who need our help. Everything we do opens another opportunity for someone, somewhere,” said President-Elect Holger Knaack.Therefore, the theme for year 2020-21 is -- Rotary Opens Opportunities.”

District Vocational Scholarships 2020

The application deadline for District Vocational Scholarships is April 30, 2020. These scholarships are meant for students who live in one of the 23 counties that comprise District 5870 and are planning to study at a community college or technical school located in one of these 23 counties; or in an adjacent county if that school is closer or a more economical option than a school located in a District 5870 county.

Flatonia Celebrates 80 Yrs of Service Above Self

The Rotary Club of Flatonia was chartered by Rotary International on December 8, 1939 and held their official charter meeting on January 23, 1940. La Grange Volunteers at Habitat Humanity Project

La Grange Rotarians were hard at work at the Fayette County Texas Habitat for Humanity project. Several members helped to dismantle ramps between two homes that will be moved and go to local families.

Lakeway/Lake Travis Food Drive

A big round of applause to the Lakeway/Lake Travis Rotary Club for their FOOD DRIVE at H-E-B. They helped to sell 392 meals, almost $2000 worth! That is a lot of meals that help feed many families and children in their community.

PR Rockstar Challenge Deadline Extended

Congratulations to the Clubs that completed the first half of the PR Rockstar Challenge! The final half of this challenge: Levels 3-5 must be completed by March 30, 2020 (extended deadline).

Marble Falls Daybreak Earns Two Rotary Foundation Awards

On Jan 14, Jeff Matera, Asst District Govenor, presented Daybreak Past President, Neal Kennedy, with two prestigious Awards from the Rotary Foundation for his Presidential year, 2018-2019.

Round Rock Rotary's Car Thing Fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Round Rock is proud to present the 22^nd annual Ron Morrison Car Thing on March 28^th, 6pm at the Chasco Family YMCA in Round Rock. The event will celebrate the life of our beloved Williamson County Commissioner who passed away in September of 2016 after a battle with prostate cancer. The lifetime Round Rock resident was known for his sense of humor, hard work and dedication to the community. He was a Round Rock High School teacher and Co-operated Morrison Auto with his wife prior to serving three terms as County Commissioner in Precinct 4.
