Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club's efforts to expand child literacy and internet access in Madagascar are rolling right along! The club's mobile library project "or Bibliobus" has visited over 12 cities since the start of the year.
Recently the Rotary Club of Austin Southwest and Oak Hill United Methodist Church worked with the Rise Against Hunger folks to package 10,000 meals. Always a fun and worthwhile event.
The Rotary Clubs of Austin and Killeen hosted a military family from Ft. Cavazos, SGt. Divine Jack, his wife Nina who is also an Army soldier and their three kids. The Rotary Club of Killeen arranged for a rent car from Killeen Toyota for the weekend along with gas money.
For the 22nd year, the Rotarians of Caldwell, Texas, have worked together to create an event to honor and recognize the four law enforcement agencies of Burleson County. This year members from the Burleson County Sheriffs office, the Caldwell Police Department, the Somerville Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety were honored at the annual banquet held at 6pm on June 28, 2024 at the Caldwell Civic Center.

The Rotary Club of Harker Heights exemplifies the principle of "Service Above Self." On June 21st, they achieved a significant milestone with their inaugural "Noble Rotarian" ceremony, a groundbreaking tribute honoring two fallen members—a first of its kind worldwide.
To celebrate our global grant which is underway in Liberia, we shared a Liberian meal as part of installation of new officers and presenting Paul Harris recognitions along with planning an upcoming project called Faith for Kids in Liberia. All in person and on Zoom. We celebrate Service Above Self.
