During a year that was challenging for many Rotarians around the world, I am proud to say that these clubs demonstrated a commitment to achieve their goals, which ultimately helped strengthen Rotary and shape our future. On Friday, August 19, 2022, the Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX, received the distinction of being named a Peacebuilder Club by the Rotarian Action Group for Peace, an international network that provides resources to further the peace and conflict resolution work of Rotarians around the globe.

PFC Garza and her husband spent a special complimentary weekend in Austin at the Hampton Inn Cedar Park. This program called Operation Vacation Ft Hood was started by the Rotary Clubs of Austin and Killeen fifteen years ago as a way to thank our military soldiers for their service.
