The Rotary Club of Austin Southwest was excited to supply over 200 coats for the SW Travis County Teddy Bear Christmas. Thanks to BancorpSouth, Boone elementary school, SW Family Fellowship Church and Oak Hill elementary school for putting out barrels to collect coats. We were gratified that we could help kids warm with new coats this winter!
Bravo to the Rotary Club of Temple-South! 17 members of the club got up early on New Years Day for a community service project at Feed My Sheep, a ministry located in downtown Temple that provides a hot meal and sack lunch to needy and homeless people each day. 100+ people received a chili lunch prepared and served by club members. What a great way to start the new year!
Alessandro Rodriquez is a 5 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy living in a modular home with his family in Georgetown. The previous condition of the trailer required his mother to carry him up and down the stairs.
Members of South Austin Rotary constructed dignity bags to pass out to people living on the street and others in need. The bags contained basic hygiene, snacks, socks, water, etc. By the time all the members finished the bags, there were over 200!
The Waco Rotary Club has partnered again this year with the YMCA of Central Texas, Junior League of Waco and Waco ISD Education Foundation to distribute a personalized book to every kindergarten, first and second grade student at each elementary campus in the district.

Conflict and violence displaced more than 68 million people in the past year, and half of those are children. We refuse to accept conflict as a way of life. Rotary projects provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts.

The Rotary Club of Salado and the Salado Independent School District teamed up to create a 2020 calendar fundraiser from students in the 5th and 6th grades and high school. Twelve winners and one grand prize winner were chosen from 75 submissions.

More than 300 Rotarians and their friends showed up at the Bastrop Convention Center on November 23, 2019, to celebrate the Bastrop Club’s annual Men Who Cook fundraiser. 2019’s theme was “Men Who Cook - International Edition”, and each chef chose a dish from a different country’s cuisine to prepare.
