Rotary District 5870 has set a goal of donating as much as we can to the Rotary Foundation’s Polio Plus Fund this year. This year, we introduced the PIES FOR POLIO CHALLENGE to help build awareness for our fight to end polio. All clubs are encouraged to partake in the challenge! Northwest Austin Rotary Club is proud to announce that our Rotary Youth Exchange Program has started again after a couple of years hiatus due to Covid-19. Our RYE student Isabela arrived from Barre Manse Brazil Thursday morning and was greeted by her host parents Tom Craig and Virginia D-Craig and Rotary District 5780's Coordinator for RYE, Sarah Brightwell. Isabela is following in her mother's footsteps as Ingrid was Virginia's first Rotary Youth Exchange Student in the late 90s. What a blessing to have Bela with us for the school year.

Northwest Austin Rotary stepped out of their regular Friday morning meeting at Balconies Country Club to pack 200 food bags for children who would normally go hungry.
The Shiner Rotary made a $1000 donation to the Shiner Animal Services. This donation will be used to pay for an air conditioning/heating system to keep the animals comfortable.
