The Waco Rotary Club has partnered again this year with the YMCA of Central Texas, Junior League of Waco and Waco ISD Education Foundation to distribute a personalized book to every kindergarten, first and second grade student at each elementary campus in the district.
The books, featuring each student as the main character of his or her story, address some excellent topics such as using good manners, not giving up and telling the truth. The hope is that students will get excited about reading at home with their family members.
