This year , the Austin Rotary Scholarship committee spent months gathering applications from high school seniors pursuing further education. They were interviewed and  selected and the committee chose thirteen students to receive a total of  $60,750.
Those candidates were selected based on 4 categories:  Academic/Testing Scores, Financial Need, Community/School/Outside Activities, and, Student's Story and the awards were presented on zoom with the Rotary Club members, parents and students present.  Twelve of the awardees were from the Austin ISD with one of those for Auto-Tech  field who is now at Texas State Technical College and one student from Del Valle who will study nursing at Concordia University.
