Each year, Rotary awards up to 130 fully funded fellowships for  leaders from around the world to study at our peace centers to become peacemakers. Your club can nominate one of these leaders.
Now is the time for making peace!  Since 2002 the Rotary Peace Centers have offered training and degree programs in Peacemaking and Conflict management. Rotary has trained more than 1,300 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries to mediate conflict, educate for peace, solve problems, and be peacemakers. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship program is designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development. Our fellows are committed to community and international service and the pursuit of peace. Each year The Rotary Foundation awards up to 50 fellowships for master’s degrees and 80 for certificate studies at premier universities. The education is done through five universities around the world offering a master’s degree (15 to 18 months):
  • Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA
  • International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan
  • University of Bradford, Bradford, England
  • University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
  • Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden
and two university career centers offering a certificate (3 months):
  • Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand
  • Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda
