Taylor Rotarians joined with Paul Hansen and his Flying Vikings to sent 25 disabled children to the highest heights.
"It was a great day," the Rev. George Qualley, a Taylor Rotarian said. "The kids and families had a tremendous time."
Rotarian John Higgins said a friend of his reached out to him after the event. "She said it was the best day of her son's life," he said. The Flying Vikings program is designed to immerse children 6-18 years old with chronic illness or physical disability into a high flying adventure.

In Taylor, the event saw 25 children take the controls of various small airplanes and navigate the sky as they became the pilots for a 15-30 minute trip. Learn more about Flying Vikings online at www.flyingvikings.org
