Together we serve! Together we Fight Hunger! On May 20, 2020, Rotary Club of Pflugerville members partnered with the Circle of Hope Community Center and Central Texas Food Bank to help distribute food to people in need at the Circle of Hope Mobile Food Pantry.
Together we served almost 200 households! We were also excited to present them with our DAP Grant funds of $4,350 to help with their future food needs. Service Above Self and One Profits Most Who Serves Best, Rotary's official mottoes, can be traced back to the early days of Rotary, and they are alive and well in the Rotary Club of Pflugerville.

Circle of Hope Community Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources to help our neighbors in need, while developing heartfelt relationships with them. They distribute food through a Mobile Food Pantry on the first Tuesday of each month, but in response to the needs brought on by COVID-19, they added a second distribution date for May. Know someone in need of food to help them? You can visit their facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/circleofhopecommunitycenter. Anyone in need is welcome to visit their facility on Mondays or Fridays from 10am to 12pm to pick up food.

Their food pantry currently serves over 400 families (over 1400 individuals) each month who visit them from Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, Austin, Georgetown, Taylor, Cedar Park, and Leander!
