Members of Local Rotary clubs - ( Austin, West Austin, Northwest Austin, Killeen Heights, Temple South) and our District Governor Beverly Luedke were invited to tour the Variety’s Peaceable Kingdom Camp in Killeen.
This camp is a real treasure in Texas because it provides “state of the art” special camping facilities and activities for all special needs children with ropes courses, farm animals, outdoor challenge activities, exotic animals, over-nite quarters, gardens and incredible counselors. The camp is also developing three day camps for entire families that have children that may not be ready for week long camps and they provide day camp for the special ed classes from Killeen ISD.
