Operation Vacation December

The Rotary Club of Austin in conjunction with the Austin Hotel Lodging Association, Greater Austin Restaurant Association, Killeen Rotary, Killeen Toyota, Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau and Around Austin, Inc. hosted our December  Ft. Hood military family for Operation Vacation on December 14-16 at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa. 1Sg Mark Pool and his wife Mary and three  children received a  complimentary two nite stay in Austin with a hosted dinner Friday nite at the hotel and Saturday nite at County Line on the Hill. The family also received gift certificates to some of the attractions of Austin as well as gifts, toys and snacks. They had a Christmas holiday in Austin and it is our way of saying thank you to them for their service to our country.
