Northwest Waco - 5th Annual Beach Party Fundraiser

The Northwest Waco Rotary Club held its 5th annual Beach Party fundraiser on Aug. 10 at Knox Hall in the Texas Ranger Museum, with dance music provided by local oldies band The Morticians. Ticket sales, sponsorships, and silent auction items garnered $9,000, which will be used for scholarships to McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College. Decked out in their Hawaiian gear, attendees enjoy an evening of good food, music, dancing, conversation, and bidding wars.
