As a new feature of the District Conference this year, Rotarians will have the opportunity to participate in Friday afternoon break out sessions to receive training and professional development at no extra charge.
Rotarians can learn about how to advance in the district, design and facilitate more efficient meetings, and can learn about successful tools for revising membership engagement programs.  Rotarians will also have the opportunity to interact with Bob Crouch, the District Governor Nominee, who will lead one of the sessions.  Presentations of this quality would normally cost up to $1000 but are included in the conference fee.  These sessions are ideal for people who sit on or have recently been elected to a Rotary club’s Board of Directors, serve or would like to serve on other community boards, and or who may be considering a larger role within Rotary and would like information.   Participants may attend up to two hour long sessions which begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6th at the Waco Hilton.
