Our team is here to help you with what you want or need from us. We are not here to tell you what we think you want but rather to listen and help you with what you want us to do. We have a wonderful team on our committee to help in any way we can. Members of our team are: PDG Jim Henry- Chair, PDG Dian Edwards, Jeff Coleman, Kent Bohls, Jason Duckworth, Rod Henry and Jim Dardnne. We are all here to serve you.
Our primary goal is to help your club Grow Rotary. Growing Rotary does not simply mean increasing numbers. Growing Rotary equates to Growing Rotarians. If our clubs are full of Rotarians and not just members, then your club will grow. We usually don’t have a problem in getting new members but in many instances, we do have a problem retaining not only new members but existing members. When you consider a new member, make sure they have a sincere heart for service and have an understanding of all Rotary does in your community and around the world. We also need to be transparent with them by not only asking them what they expect from Rotary but also telling them what we expect from them. We truly believe that when we do this, we will Grow Rotarians and not just increase our numbers.
In upcoming articles, we will discuss and give you some tips regarding retention, club growth, educational opportunities, club flexibility, the RI Leads program and more. We hope these monthly discussions will be an aid to your club.
