The members of the Rotary Club of Austin took advantage of a beautiful Austin day and  instead of doing taxes went to the Parmer Half Price Book Give Away on April 15 and received over 2700 books for kids and Bookspring. Rotary’s literacy committee’s  objective is to get books in the hands of children who do not have any so they can develop a love for reading by building their own home libraries. This goal partners well with BookSpring Austin  which  also believes in providing  free books to infant through high school through their clinic and school programs. These two organizations are changing the world one book and child at a time.
