One of our Rotary District 5870 service projects this year is Empowering Girls and Women. Belton and Cedar Park have already had service events, and now Georgetown Days for Girls is our focal point for our final district service project for this project.

We will be making personal hygiene kits, that once completed, will be shipped to girls in over 144 countries like Nepal, Guatemala and Uganda.

The event is taking place Saturday, April 23 from 9 am - noon at Christ Lutheran Church (510 Luther Dr., Georgetown). Our venue accommodates only about 25 at a time, so sign up early! Sign up here for one-hour (or multiple) shifts:  We also welcome additional supplies. Go to the Empowering Girls page on our district site to find out more about the supplies needed. Contact Amy at amybawcom@gmail.com for more information.
