The Caldwell Rotary Club honored the community's law enforcement officers and staff on October 12, 2021.
The Club works with the Sheriff's Office, the two city police departments in the Burleson County and other agencies providing protection to the citizens.  Over 300 people attended the dinner of ribeye steak, potatoes, beans and cheese cake.  Two officers who were shot in the line of duty were honored by the State Sherriff's organization and ten officers were recognized for their service.

Over $6000 was raised at the dinner and presented back to agencies to support their work in the community.  Officers also won random drawings, which included gift cards and cash donated by the Caldwell Club and the local bank.

Congressman Pete Sessions spoke to the group about personal sacrifice and servant leadership. This is the 19th year the Caldwell Rotary Club has held the event.
