The Interact Clubs that earned the 2017 – 2018 Interact Presidential Citations are Burnet High School, Burnet Middle School, and the Impact Club of Manor New Technical High School.
Of particular note is Manor New Tech.  They earned their Citation in the year they were chartered—not an easy feat!  All of these clubs represent what hard work and a focused vision can accomplish.

One of the best ways to be sure to plan a successful Interact year is to plan the year’s activities around the current year’s Interact Presidential Citation.  In other words, use the citation requirements as your Club’s goal set.  That way the Club can allocate their interests and available resources to meet the requirements.  This also ensures a solid test of leadership, a group effort, and the teaching and learning of Rotary’s beliefs and values.

The deadline to fulfill the Citation requirements isn’t until June 30th, so it’s not too late to begin now for the 2018 – 2019 school year. There are only two basic requirements for a Rotary Club to report their Interact Club’s accomplishments by way of the Interact Citation.  The first is to be sure that your Interact Club is listed as active in Rotary International’s database.  Only those that can are eligible to earn the Citation.  The other is to complete the online nomination form by the prescribed deadline.  The current Interact Citation can be found at https://my.rotary.org/en/document/interact-citation-achievement-guide-2018-19.
