There is definitely excitement in the air……my District wide tour of clubs has begun and Rotarians are extremely excited to be getting back together.  As we celebrate Membership & New Club Development Month there are lots of plans being made for service in communities throughout the District and this is AWESOME.
What a way to give potential Rotary members an idea of what Rotary is all about.   And have you heard:  we are very close to chartering a NEW club—the Rotary Club of Elgin.  This is exciting news and many thanks go out to the Rotary Club of Taylor who will serve as the Sponsor Club and to Rotarian John Higgins who has led the charge.

“Serving to Change Lives” is what Rotary means and is what we do.  This great theme is going to help drive us out of the last 18 months of virtual isolation and back into our neighborhoods and communities that we all love and want to serve.  I encourage everyone to “catch the bug” of service over the next month and get back into your community…..MAKE A DIFFERENCE in someone else’s life through membership, service or through giving to the Rotary Foundation.

As we go to “SERVE AND CHANGE LIVES,
Beverly

PS….and don’t forget to guess where I am in “Where’s the Gov?”.  This one is a little tricky!!  It might get the brain cells moving in a scholarly way.
