Belton Rotary Is Honored By Chamber Of Commerce
The Belton Rotary Club is honored by the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce A bench has been added to the Belton Police Memorial, which allows visitors to reflect on those who have paid the ultimate price. The memorial opened in May, but there was no place for visitors to sit. The Belton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Belton program added the bench in honor of the Belton Rotary Club’s contribution to construction of the memorial.
The $600 bench was specially designed to highlight what Rotary Club’s values, quoting the organization’s iconic Four Way Test.
“We really want them to be singled out, and really praised, for everything they have done,” said John Burgess of Leadership Belton.
