The Rotary Club of Austin & Killeen hosted our next Operation Vacation military family for an R&R in Austin with a complimentary weekend at Sonesta Select North Hotel on August 26-28.
SPC Mariah Torres and her family enjoyed our sunny Austin weather by swimming at the pool, visiting Mt. Playmore Entertainment Center for Toddlers since there are three small children in the family, seeing the many sites of the city and feasting on a special family style BBQ dinner at the County Line on the Hill restaurant. This is Austin’s way of thanking our brave men and women who serve at Ft. Hood along with their families. The most important thing for these soldiers is quality time with their families and staying safe. Thank a soldier today!
