Multi-Club Service Project - Shoes For Children 

Rotarians in Austin got to help Samaritans Feet and Movement Mortgage hand out over 500 new shoes to the students at Pecan Springs Early College Prep School on Saturday and it was a heartwarming event for all.  There was a contest and to win Movement Mortgage had to raise $10,000 to get the opportunity to give a non profit of their choice 600 brand new shoes and the company chose Pecan Springs. The event was held that the school and the Rotarians worked hand and hand with the employees of both organizations measuring the kids, washing their feet and then putting on brand new socks and shoes on each kid that arrived and waited their turn. Each student was also given a backpack of goodies and a snack with juice.  It was a grand day at Pecan Springs and Rotary got to help give back to the community.  Thanks Samaritans Feet and Movement Mortgage.
