Burnet Middle School Interact Club Wins National Award and More

In March, 2017 BMS Interact was one of four schools in the nation to receive a visit from Sandy Hook Promise during "Start with Hello" week.  That was a tremendous honor and fueled empowerment across the BMS campus that was nothing short of awesome to watch.
 

This program did so well with the students that the "Start with Hello" is now slated to become a Burnet CISD District wide program during the 2017 - 2018 school year, led by BMS Interact and their advisers.  One of the advisers, Sara Te, not only originally located the program but also decided to apply for the 2016 - 2017 Start with Hello national grand prize.  They won!  Read their story
